I'm trying to improve my photography but to do that I need a kick up the bum every so often to remind me to take the camera out. With this in mind I set up a photo prompt group on facebook called Image Quest. The idea is that I post a list of prompts at the beginning of each month which equals the amount of days in that month. These prompts can be tackled daily or just when you fancy it and there is no pressure to do a picture for each prompt. Anyone one is welcome to join so come and have a go if you would like.
Prompt number 26 for December is Twinkle and this is my interpretation. I got the twinkle effect by having a high aperture (the f number) and a low ISO of about 400 which means a slow shutter speed and the need for a tripod. I found that mine worked better using the timer too as that eliminated any camera shake.
